Job Summary The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee the AR team, develop efficient billing processes, and collaborate with internal departments to optimize revenue recognition and collections. Job Responsibilities Manage and oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment posting, collections, and reconciliation. Supervise, mentor, and develop AR staff, providing clear goals, coaching, and performance feedback. Ensure accurate and timely billing in alignment with contract terms, company policies, and accounting standards. Monitor aging reports, identify delinquent accounts, and lead proactive collection efforts. Partner with sales, customer success, and finance teams to resolve billing disputes and discrepancies. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracy. Analyze AR metrics, cash receipts, and collection trends to support cash flow forecasting and reporting. Prepare and present monthly AR reports to management, highlighting KPIs and action plans. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate revenue recognition and general ledger integrity. Support annual audits and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, finance, or related field required. 5–7+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or revenue operations, with 2+ years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and AR best practices. Proven experience managing high-volume billing and collections operations. Proficiency in NetSuite ERP. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external collaboration. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in digital content or healthcare industries. Familiarity with automated invoicing systems. Experience implementing process improvements or system upgrades in AR.
