Finance Intern

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to establish a long-term career in the financial services and investment industry. Successful candidates will participate in a comprehensive 12-13 week licensing and development program designed to prepare them to earn their Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7, and Series 63 licenses. Upon successful completion of the training program, candidates will transition into a Broker Trainee role for approximately 90 days, gaining hands-on experience supporting clients and financial trading operations. The Broker Trainee serves as a key member of the brokerage support team, assisting clients with account-related inquiries, trading activity, and digital platform navigation. This role requires strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with a passion for financial markets and helping clients achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of customer service, operations, call center, or financial services experience and will thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Responsibilities Execute customer trades over the phone using brokerage trading platforms. Provide exceptional service through phone, email, and live chat channels. Assist clients with account inquiries, trading questions, and platform support. Research and resolve complex customer and trading-related issues. Support customers with margin accounts, buying power calculations, and maintenance requirements. Assist with options trading and advanced order types. Troubleshoot website and mobile application issues. Process account-related requests accurately and efficiently. Adhere to all regulatory requirements, firm policies, and compliance standards. Maintain detailed and accurate records while meeting service-level expectations. Deliver a professional, client-first experience in every interaction. 1+ years of experience in customer service, call center operations, financial services, banking, or a related field. High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build trust and establish credibility with clients over the phone and through digital communication channels. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven setting. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Receptive to coaching and constructive feedback.
