Hours will be as needed. Start and end times will vary Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 7:00pm; Saturday hours may be requested as needed.Job Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to various clinic sitesMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:1 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment1 or more years' experience assisting all patient age groups (pediatric - geriatric)Current or prior LabCorp experienceAdditional Job Standards:Will cover sites in the Greater Austin area (50 + miles)Ability to work in a fast paced / high volume work environmentsAble to pass a standardized color blindness testBe 21 years of age or olderHave a valid driver's license and clean driving recordExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionAs a PRN Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience.
