Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify visitor, vendor, and contractor authorization in accordance with site-specific policies. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel. Minimum Requirements: Have at least two years of security-related experience. Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess an armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
