Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Identity Validation Driver in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor access points and patrol a residential community, helping to deter incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and delivery records in accordance with community procedures. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to the appropriate personnel and complete required reports. Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Possess a valid armed guard card or license. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
