Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Response in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, team members, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location. Monitor assigned areas for unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations, reporting observations through established procedures. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store leadership and emergency services as appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity. Maintain required reports, incident documentation, and equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, and/or military experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
