As an Armed Patrol Officer at a premier residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support residents and guests with exceptional service and communication. DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
- Prepare accurate reports and communicate observed conditions, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of corrections, law enforcement, military experience and/or degree in criminal justice.
- Possess an armed guard card is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
