Your Role and Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients, prescribe diagnostic tests, and formulate tailored healthcare strategies
• Diagnose and manage various health issues, collaborating with physicians or practicing autonomously as appropriate
• Provide education to patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and managing health conditions
• Prescribe necessary medications and therapies within your scope
• Engage in patient follow-up and manage chronic care effectively
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated and comprehensive care
• Ensure thorough and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Credentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

Mandatory Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license valid in Nebraska
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or another relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
