The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time, Logistics Management Specialist (NH-0346-03) to work for the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Philadelphia, PA (DLA).

Qualifications/Requirements:

In this position you will be Responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating the total cradle-to-grave life cycle support for assigned system or subsystem. Participate in determining support requirements; i.e. workloads, schedules, tests, facilities, skills, and training required. Helps to establish milestones and monitors throughout the project to ensure schedules are met, deficiencies are identified, and required adjustments are made. Coordinates and integrates taskings needed for execution from different functional organizations. Assists users in translating project plans into contractual documents. Develops comprehensive logistics evaluation criteria to measure contractor progress in meeting program objectives. Serves as the senior representative and spokesperson in communicating program matters. Serves as representative and spokesperson at special conferences called for the purpose of initiating program changes and commits the command to actions by established deadlines. Recommends policy and regulatory changes, as well as program enhancements. Gathers facts to develop conclusions relative to any matter having a significant impact on solutions to problems requiring command attention.

The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain an appropriate security clearance (SAR 7 Non-Critical Sensitive).

Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and civilian aircraft.

This position is not approved for remote, however situational telework may be considered.

Employee must within 30-days of assuming this position and annually thereafter, file an OGE-450, "Confidential Financial Disclosure Report." Employees are required to attend annual ethics and procurement integrity training.

This position has been designated as a Non-Critical Acquisition Position and is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP). The selectee must meet or be capable of achieving the APDP certification as designated on the position description within the defined grace period for that certification level after assignment. This position also requires the employee to engage in acquisition continuous learning activities achieving 80 Continuous Learning points every 24 months.
