What You'll Do

Provide expert nursing care in the emergency room setting for diverse patient populations
Assesses patient conditions and executes appropriate interventions
Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Collaborates with team members to prioritize patient care and optimize outcomes
Utilizes current clinical practices and standards to ensure patient safety
Maintains accurate documentation of patient care activities
Supports compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards

What You Need

Required:

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in nursing
Certification in clinical specialty areas
