Kitchen Shift Leader

Position Summary As a Kitchen Shift Leader at Chick-fil-A, you will support and lead kitchen operations, ensure consistent food quality, uphold food safety and sanitation standards, and develop team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role combines operational leadership with hands‑on performance in a fast‑paced restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities Lead kitchen operations during assigned shifts and oversee food preparation. Ensure adherence to Chick-fil-A’s food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Train, coach, and develop kitchen team members to perform at high standards. Communicate expectations clearly and maintain accountability for team performance. Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and support daily opening and closing procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ensure proper execution of recipes, portion control, and product quality. Address operational issues and coordinate with management to improve processes. Perform other duties as needed to support kitchen and restaurant success. Required Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old (or meet applicable minimum age requirements). Authorization to work in the United States. Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred (food service experience a plus). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods. Frequent walking, bending, lifting up to ~50 lbs with or without accommodation. Work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment with heat and noise.
