Position details

• Reports to: Facilities Manager
• Department: 506
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday; flexibility for extended hours
• Environment: Factory setting interfacing with production and warehouse areas
• Travel: Occasional (suppliers, conferences, inter-facility collaboration)

What you’ll do

• Plan and perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability of machinery and building systems.
• Diagnose and correct mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC faults.
• Respond to emergency calls to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify early signs of wear or malfunction.
• Apply safety protocols and regulatory standards at all times, including Lockout/Tagout.
• Repair and maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, and other plant equipment.
• Create thorough service records for repairs, inspections, and parts changes.
• Support new equipment installations and commissioning.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and manage spare parts with the Facilities Manager.
• Complete general building repairs (doors, windows, walls, lighting).
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure equipment availability and performance.

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanical/industrial maintenance are a plus.
• 3–5 years of maintenance mechanic experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Proficiency with industrial machinery, electrical systems, and HVAC.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems using manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong adherence to safety practices and standards.
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving; detail-driven and self-directed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, twisting, standing, bending, and squatting.
