Position Overview Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Case Manager to oversee life insurance cases from application through policy placement. This role serves as a key liaison between brokers, carriers, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient underwriting process. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple cases while maintaining accuracy and delivering an exceptional broker experience. Location: Monsey Area, NY Reports To: Operations Leadership Employment Type: Full Time, On Site Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 USD Annually Key Responsibilities Manage life insurance cases from submission through policy placement while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely follow-up Review applications and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and carrier-specific requirements Establish and maintain accurate case records within the Agency Management System (AMS) Gather, organize, and manage medical, financial, and underwriting documentation throughout the application process Coordinate with brokers, carriers, underwriters, and internal teams to facilitate case progression and resolve outstanding requirements Monitor case status and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders throughout the underwriting process Anticipate potential obstacles and identify solutions to minimize delays and improve placement outcomes Prepare application packets, supporting documentation, and carrier submissions as needed Maintain detailed records, case notes, and workflow updates to ensure compliance and operational efficiency Assist with quotes, carrier portals, and additional case-related administrative responsibilities as required Qualifications Required 2+ years of experience in case management, insurance operations, underwriting support, financial services, healthcare administration, loan processing, banking, compliance, or a related field Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset Preferred Experience within life insurance, insurance brokerage, underwriting, or carrier operations Familiarity with Agency Management Systems (AMS), CRM platforms, or underwriting tools Experience managing client files, documentation, and workflow processes from initiation through completion Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Co-Sponsored Health Insurance Group Life Insurance Group Disability Insurance Compensation The published salary range is intended as a general guideline and may vary based on experience, education, skill set, and overall qualifications.
