The Temple Women's and Families Maternity Unit is a family-centered, multidisciplinary care area dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based care to mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience. The unit offers high-quality antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care while promoting patient safety, education, and positive birth experiences. Through collaboration among nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff, the team is committed to delivering exceptional care that supports the physical, emotional, and educational needs of every family. Float to L&D and NICU, must have experience with both At least 1-2 weekends per month No Holidays Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:3 however it may vary Unit Size/Beds: Total of 32 beds Cases seen: Serves a diverse urban population that includes children, adults, and older adults from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
