Payroll Clerk

Job Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Clerk in the service industry, located in Rockledge, Florida. This role involves administrative payroll duties and the reviewing and approval of timesheets. Responsibilities Accurately process payroll and ensure that all payments are made in a timely manner Review and approve employee timesheets on a regular basis Maintain accurate records of payroll functions and transactions Respond to and resolve any payroll-related inquiries from employees Regularly reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and consistency Stay updated on the latest payroll trends, regulations, and best practices Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operation of payroll functions Use payroll software to automate processes and improve efficiency Document all payroll activities and prepare regular reports for review Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information at all times Qualifications Candidate must have proficiency in reviewing and managing employee timesheets Ability to effectively execute payroll functions is essential Must have experience in processing payroll Should be able to reconcile payroll discrepancies promptly and accurately Keen attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks Familiarity with payroll software and systems is desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Basic understanding of labor legislation and payroll taxes Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel #J-18808-Ljbffr
