Key Responsibilities Analyze and advise on first-party property insurance coverage matters, including policy interpretation, coverage investigations, and pre-suit evaluations. Manage coverage disputes through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and resolution. Conduct examinations under oath (EUOs), draft coverage opinions, and develop litigation strategies for complex property claims. Prepare motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents. Collaborate with attorneys and insurance industry professionals on high-exposure property coverage matters. Qualifications / Nice to Have Must Have Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active bar license in good standing. 4+ years of insurance coverage experience. Experience handling first-party property coverage matters. Experience with policy analysis, EUOs, depositions, pleadings, motions, and mediation. Nice to Have Experience representing insurance carriers. Experience managing coverage disputes from investigation through litigation. Background in complex property loss or catastrophe-related claims. Experience drafting coverage opinions and advising on coverage obligations.
