Systems Analyst
City of Los Angeles
The position is for IT Infrastructure and Operations Data Center section as a Systems Analyst. The position shall be performing administrative duties that include implementation, troubleshooting, and management of enterprise backup systems, remote access systems, and Disaster Recovery systems among other enterprise application systems concerning the installation, repair, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise server equipment.
The position duties include the continuous support in the operation and enhancement of LAWA critical systems namely the Okta 2-Factor Authentication system, Rubrik and Commvault on-prem/cloud enterprise backup systems and other infrastructure IT systems used by LAWA on 24x7 business operations. Reviews progress, organize, and update Service-Now tickets associated with these projects and initiatives ensuring proper services and deliveries.Collaborate and communicate with users to provide troubleshooting assistance through tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Webex. Perform upgrades and patching of Windows and Linux operating systems, ensuring compatibility, consistent functionality, and enhanced security hardening. Develop and maintain documentation for end users and system administrators. Work independently or collaboratively in compliance with Los Angeles Equal Employment Opportunity policies and procedures.
