As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Texas City, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, perimeter locations, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Document activities, observations, incidents, and access-control exceptions accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
