Unmanned Systems (UxS) Technician The Ascendancy Group is seeking an experienced Unmanned Systems (UxS) Technician with a Secret clearance that is TS/SCI eligible. Requirements Secret Clearance – TS/SCI eligible B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Technician in an applicable engineering or science field. Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on professional experience with a degree or 7 years of experience without a degree. FAA Part107 or obtain within 6 months of employment. Extensive knowledge in BetaFlight, ArduPilot, and PX4 – 5 years. Extensive knowledge and hands‑on experience building drones – 5 years. Knowledgeable in electronic propulsion and combustible power systems – 5 years. Proficient in building, testing, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical assemblies. This includes knowledge of analog and digital circuits, AC/DC electronics, and the ability to use test equipment such as a multimeter, spectrum analyzer, and oscilloscopes. Knowledgeable and comfortable selecting electronic parts and sensors for various projects. Technician must be comfortable working in a shop environment with loud noises and industrial power tools. May be required to lift 50 lbs. Adept with power and hand tools for assembly and repairs. Proficient using computer‑aided design (CAD) software for rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing. Hands‑on experience using various 3D printing technologies, such as FDM, SLS, SLA and strong understanding in selecting material e.g., PLA, PETG/ABS, and TPU. Skilled in soldering and desoldering electrical components, including surface‑mounted devices (SMD) and various sensors. Ability to perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and conduct repairs using technical manuals. This includes hardware assembly, troubleshooting common error messages, and primary/secondary/servicing. Familiar with C, C++, and Python. Ability to use developmental tools, including integrated development environments (IDEs), compilers, and hardware debuggers, to compile firmware or troubleshoot low‑level issues. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Ascendancy Group
