PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center Vancouver, WA Full Time | 1.00 FTE | Night Shift Pay: $24.85 $37.35/hour

What You'll Do (And Why It Matters)

You'll play a direct role in keeping patients safe by ensuring every instrument is clean, sterile, and ready when it's needed.

• Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments with care and precision
• Inspect instruments to make sure they are safe and fully functional
• Assemble trays for upcoming surgical procedures
• Sterilize instruments using autoclaves and specialized equipment
• Deliver the right tools to the right place; on time, every time
• Keep supplies stocked so care teams are never delayed
• Maintain equipment so everything runs smoothly and safely

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Completion of a Sterile Processing program or related hands-on experience (preferred)
• National certification (CRCST, CSPDT, or equivalent) within 1 year of hire
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing things right
• Basic computer and communication skills

Southwest Medical Center Note: We also require candidates with 3+ months of related experience (e.g., veterinary tech, dental tech, surgical aid) where you've handled and sterilized instruments.

Nice to have (but not required)

Experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment is helpful, but what matters most is your willingness to learn and take pride in your work.
