Job Description As a Security Officer Licensed Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and report security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting daily operations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMThur08:00 AM - 04:00 PMFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, equipment areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions. Monitor access activity and visitor entry in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized access. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. At least one year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
