Production Supervisor

Role Overview Responsible for first-line direction of non-exempt employees involved in production, assembly, subassembly, or fabrication operations. Reviews production schedules, material, and manpower resources. Assigns employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality, and attain output requirements. Location Location: Griffin, Georgia Schedule Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 3:30PM to 1:30AM Department Department: Metal Fabrication Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Safety- Company targets with department goals per yearly approved KPIs. Quality- Company targets with department goals per yearly approved KPIs. Production- Company targets with department goals per yearly approved KPIs. Qualifications Coordinates the day-to-day activities of a team of production workers to ensure that manufacturing operations run according to established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and waste targets; and quality standards. Monitors the volume and quality of output and adjusts tasks, timing, equipment set-up, or inputs so that production specifications are met, and resources are used efficiently. Informs assigned employees of production and material problems and coordinates with support groups to resolve problems affecting schedules. Participates in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures. Maintains a variety of reports, records, and production documentation to reflect schedules, performance, and methods. Supervises staff to ensure that all production tasks are performed, and all machines and equipment are operated safely. Trains new workers in the organization's operating procedures and standards. Salary & Benefits The salary range for this position is $65K – 70K. This range is a good faith estimate of what Hoshizaki America expects to pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
