The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to join our clinical research team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with clinical research experience who wants to develop a long-term career in a highly specialized and rapidly evolving area of medicine. The CRC will work closely with the Principal Investigator, Lead Clinical Research Coordinator, research subjects, sponsors, CROs, and other members of the clinical research team.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable balancing patient interaction with the regulatory, administrative, and data-management responsibilities required to conduct high-quality clinical research.
Because many of our studies involve aesthetic treatments and technologies, the position provides unique exposure to innovative products and procedures before they become widely available in clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Trial Coordination
• Coordinate assigned clinical research studies in accordance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, IRB requirements, and site standard operating procedures.
• Develop a thorough understanding of assigned protocols, including inclusion/exclusion criteria, study procedures, visit schedules, safety requirements, and study endpoints.
• Participate in a study from start to finish: study start-up activities, site initiation visits, investigator meetings, monitoring visits, and study close-out activities.
• Prepare study-specific source documents, visit materials, supplies, and other materials necessary for successful study execution.
• Coordinate and conduct study visits while ensuring that all protocol-required procedures are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
• Maintain study calendars and ensure that protocol visits and procedures occur within required study windows.
Research Subject Recruitment & Care
• Assist with identification, recruitment, and pre-screening of potential study subjects.
• Coordinate scheduling, appointment reminders, follow-up visits, and subject communications throughout study participation.
• Ensure that appropriate informed consent is obtained and documented before study-related procedures are performed.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for study participants for study-related questions and scheduling.
• Promote an exceptional subject experience while maintaining strict adherence to research protocols and regulatory requirements.
Clinical Procedures
Based upon training, competency, protocol requirements, and applicable licensure:
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Perform blood draws and specimen collection.
• Perform ECG/EKG testing when required.
• Process laboratory specimens, including centrifugation, preparation, storage, accountability, and shipment.
• Coordinate courier services and laboratory shipments.
• Assist the investigator with protocol-specific clinical assessments and procedures.
• Perform other study-specific procedures following appropriate training and documentation of competency.
Data Collection & Documentation
• Maintain accurate, complete, and contemporaneous source documentation in accordance with ALCOA-C principles and Good Clinical Practice.
• Enter study data into electronic or paper Case Report Forms (CRFs/eCRFs).
• Review study data for accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to sponsor and CRO data queries accurately and within required timelines.
• Maintain subject screening, enrollment, visit, and other study-specific logs.
• Ensure that study-related reports, laboratory results, and other clinical information are reviewed by the investigator within required timeframes.
Regulatory & Safety Responsibilities
• Maintain regulatory documentation and study files throughout the lifecycle of each clinical trial.
• Assist with preparation and submission of regulatory documents to sponsors, CROs, and IRBs.
• Maintain current training records, delegation logs, regulatory binders, and essential study documents.
• Identify and promptly communicate adverse events, serious adverse events, protocol deviations, and other safety concerns to the Principal Investigator and Lead CRC.
• Assist with required documentation and reporting of adverse events and serious adverse events according to protocol, sponsor, IRB, FDA, and site requirements.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of protected health information, sponsor confidential information, and proprietary study information.
Investigational Product & Study Supplies
When appropriately trained and authorized:
• Maintain receipt, storage, preparation, dispensing, return, and accountability of investigational products and study devices.
• Maintain required investigational product and device accountability documentation.
• Monitor temperature-controlled investigational products, specimens, and study supplies and maintain required temperature documentation.
• Monitor study inventory and coordinate reordering of supplies to prevent interruptions in study activities.
Sponsor & CRO Collaboration
• Communicate professionally and effectively with study sponsors, CROs, monitors, investigators, and other research personnel.
• Prepare for and participate in monitoring visits.
• Respond promptly to monitoring findings and assist with resolution of outstanding study issues.
• Maintain organized and inspection-ready research records.
• Keep the Principal Investigator and Lead CRC informed of study progress, subject issues, protocol concerns, and operational challenges.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for more than someone who can complete assigned research tasks. We want a team member who is interested in becoming an integral part of our clinical research program.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
• A genuine interest in clinical research and aesthetic medicine.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional and compassionate interaction with research subjects.
• The ability to manage multiple studies, subjects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
• Initiative and the ability to anticipate study needs rather than simply respond to assigned tasks.
• A strong sense of personal accountability and follow-through.
• The ability to work independently while functioning effectively within a collaborative research team.
• Commitment to regulatory compliance, data integrity, and patient safety.
• Interest in professional development and a long-term career in clinical research.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of one year of professional clinical research experience. Student research, academic coursework, or internships completed solely as part of a degree program do not satisfy this requirement.
• Current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification or ability to complete required GCP training before independently performing study responsibilities.
• Experience working directly with patients or research subjects.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn electronic data capture (EDC), clinical trial management, and sponsor-specific systems.
• Ability to perform detailed documentation and data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, nursing, or a related field.
• Previous Clinical Research Coordinator experience.
• Experience with industry-sponsored Phase II-IV clinical trials.
• Experience working with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or aesthetic clinical trials.
• Experience with EDC systems, regulatory documentation, IRB submissions, and sponsor/CRO monitoring visits.
• Experience with phlebotomy, specimen processing, and ECG/EKG acquisition.
• Medical Assistant, LPN, RN, phlebotomy, or other relevant clinical training is a plus.
• ACRP or SOCRA certification is valued but not required.
What We Offer
• Competitive salary of $60,000-$65,000 annually , commensurate with experience.
• Full-time, on site, Monday-Friday schedule.
• Hands-on involvement in innovative clinical research in aesthetic medicine.
• Direct mentorship from experienced clinical research professionals and the Principal Investigator.
• Exposure to emerging aesthetic technologies, treatments, and products.
• Opportunities to participate in multiple phases of clinical trial execution, from study start-up through close-out.
• Professional development and opportunities for increasing responsibility within the research program.
• Supportive, collaborative, and patient-focused work environment.
• Vos Collection employee benefits and applicable incentive programs.
• Employee referral program.
• Opportunities for career advancement within a growing organization.
