Marin County guests hold their automotive experience to the same standard they hold everything else -- and the General Manager of this store is responsible for ensuring every department, every team member, and every guest interaction reflects that standard consistently.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the full P&L -- variable operations, fixed operations, and the financial performance of every department within the store
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable a leadership team across sales, finance, service, and parts -- building managers who operate with clarity, discipline, and genuine hospitality
• Drive variable operations excellence -- new car, pre-owned, F&I, and digital retail performance aligned with Swickard and Mercedes-Benz standards
• Oversee fixed operations -- ensuring the service and parts departments operate at full efficiency, strong absorption, and excellent CSI
• Own inventory strategy across new and pre-owned -- allocation management, pricing discipline, aging control, and market positioning
• Protect and strengthen the store's OEM relationship -- maintaining Mercedes-Benz standards, CPO performance, and customer satisfaction benchmarks
• Build and sustain a store culture rooted in hospitality, accountability, and consistent execution -- where every team member understands the standard and is supported to meet it
• Serve as the face of Mercedes-Benz of Marin in the community -- representing the store and the brand with integrity and professionalism

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of General Manager experience at a franchised dealership -- required
• Mercedes-Benz or luxury brand GM experience -- required. The MBZ platform, OEM standards, and luxury guest profile are foundational to success in this role
• Demonstrates a high HQ (Hospitality Quotient) -- kindness and optimism, intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity
• Proven full P&L ownership -- variable and fixed ops, with demonstrated ability to grow both revenue and profitability
• A leadership approach built on clarity, standard-setting, and steady accountability -- you develop people, not just manage them
• Deep operational expertise across sales, F&I, service, and parts -- you understand how every department connects and how to optimize across all of them
• Strong OEM relationship management -- experience navigating Mercedes-Benz brand standards, audits, and performance expectations
• A guest-first mindset that reflects both the Mercedes-Benz brand standard and Swickard's hospitality-first culture
