Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled CVOR Tech to support cardiac surgery procedures in a busy hospital setting. This seasonal travel position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform surgical scrub duties for cardiovascular procedures, including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR.
  
  
• 
  Assist surgeons and staff with instrumentation and equipment setup.
  
  
• 
  Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain sterile field standards.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and troubleshoot medical equipment during surgeries.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with team members and shift personnel to coordinate patient care.
  
  
• 
  Complete documentation and equipment checks according to unit policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current, active Kansas licensure as a CST or CVOR Tech.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 1-year recent acute care CVOR Tech experience.
  
  
• 
  Maintain BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
  
  
• 
  Experienced with open heart and cardiovascular procedures.
  
  
• 
  Familiar with Meditech EMR system; excellent communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Confident, team-oriented, with a positive attitude.
