Required Skills & Qualifications

• Current North Carolina SLPA license
• Experience working with school-age children preferred
• Proficient in implementing speech-language interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and diverse student populations
• Passion for helping students achieve their individual goals in language and communication

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of speech-language therapy services according to students' IEPs and established treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy to students individually or in small groups under the supervision of an SLP
• Collect data and maintain accurate records on student progress
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Support students across a range of ages and needs as caseload may vary
• Create a positive, inclusive environment conducive to learning and communication growth
