Demand Generation Lead

AI is transforming how every company operates, but most enterprises are stuck. They want to move fast with AI agents, tools, and workflows, but they can't do it safely. We're fixing that. Our team built AI Actions for OpenAI, shipped Zapier Agents to millions of users, and launched the first remote MCP server with Anthropic. The co-creator of MCP is on our cap table. We helped establish the protocol, and now we're building the platform enterprises need to actually use it. Runlayer is one platform for MCPs, Skills, and Agents. Purpose-built security, fine-grained governance, and complete observability so organizations can push AI forward across the entire company without the risk. We raised $11M from Khosla Ventures and Felicis, and customers include Gusto, Instacart, and Opendoor. We're a team of 25, mostly engineers, shipping fast. If you want to work at the center of how AI gets things done, this is the moment. As our Demand Gen Lead, you'll build Runlayer's paid acquisition engine from zero. We run no paid today (all inbound is organic), but we have the budget, the deal sizes, and the pipeline pressure to make paid a real channel. You'll own paid ads, landing pages, SEO/AEO, and growth experimentation. Why You'll Thrive Here Impact: Build the paid acquisition motion from scratch for the enterprise platform to run AI faster & safely Excellence: Work alongside founders and a senior GTM team closing Fortune 500 deals through pure inbound Ownership: Own demand gen end-to-end, from channel strategy to landing pages to attribution What You'll Do Build and run paid acquisition across Google, LinkedIn, and other B2B channels Own landing page strategy and production for campaigns and paid traffic, including ABM Drive SEO and AEO (answer engine optimization) as AI search becomes a core lead source Run growth experiments across channels to find what scales Own attribution, analytics, and pipeline reporting for marketing-sourced leads Partner with PMM on campaign messaging and with sales on lead quality and handoff Support field marketing with digital amplification (conferences, partner campaigns, events) What We're Looking For 5+ years in demand gen or growth marketing at B2B SaaS, infra, or developer tools companies Proven track record building paid acquisition programs from scratch, ideally for high-ACV enterprise sales Strong paid ads chops across Google, LinkedIn, and emerging channels Data-driven. Comfortable with attribution models, funnel analysis, and pipeline reporting. Landing page and conversion optimization experience Understanding of SEO and AEO; experience with tools like Profound is a plus Comfortable running experiments fast and killing what doesn't work Bonus Qualifications Experience with high-ACV, technical enterprise sales motions (six figure deals, long sales cycles) AI-native, uses Claude What We Offer We provide a competitive package designed to attract and retain top talent who can work effectively with enterprise customers.
