About the Role

CME Corp is seeking a hands-on leader to oversee Fulfillment Center operations and teams responsible for delivering, assembling, and installing medical equipment. You must have practical installation experience, be able to teach employees how to wall mount products, and help field teams troubleshoot remotely.

Installation experience may include cabinetry, bathroom fixtures, wall-mounted products, furniture, appliances, or similar equipment. Warehouse or hauling experience alone does not meet the requirements of this role. Construction or remodeling experience is helpful; medical equipment experience is preferred but not required.

Based in Grain Valley, this role supports locations in Salt Lake City, Denver, New Orleans, and Memphis when it opens in FY2027. It combines local leadership, remote management, and routine travel and reports to the DTS Program Manager.

• Train and coach employees in assembly, wall mounting, measuring, leveling, fastening, and safe use of hand and power tools. Verify employees can perform assigned work safely and correctly.
• Teach teams to assess wall construction and select appropriate mounting hardware and methods consistent with manufacturer instructions and company procedures.
• Troubleshoot installation issues by phone, video, and photographs; determine when work should stop or additional on-site or technical support is needed.
• Reinforce safe loading, securement, unloading, and delivery of individual pieces of bulky, heavy, fragile, or irregularly shaped equipment using appropriate protection and handling equipment.
• Ensure teams plan for site access, staffing, and equipment needs, protect customer property, and document product condition and delivery or installation issues.

• Lead warehouse and Direct to Site (DTS) employees across assigned locations; manage staffing, workload, training, performance, and accountability through regular communication and coaching.
• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, staging, shipping, inventory accuracy, and equipment readiness. Ensure equipment, hardware, tools, and project materials are complete and ready for customer commitments.
• Travel routinely to train employees, inspect operations, assess work quality, and resolve service or safety concerns.
• Implement and audit operating procedures; use systems and performance metrics to improve service, control expenses, and address problems.
• Maintain safe, organized, secure facilities and equipment, and coordinate with Project Management, DTS, and other departments to meet customer commitments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in delivery and installation, field operations, distribution, construction, or a related environment.
• Direct, hands-on product installation experience, including wall mounting, selecting appropriate hardware, and using hand and power tools.
• Ability to teach installation techniques, evaluate workmanship, and guide employees through troubleshooting remotely.
• Experience safely handling, loading, securing, and delivering bulky or damage-sensitive products or equipment.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and team leadership skills, including managing priorities and employees across locations.
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or comparable inventory platform and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and web-based tools.
• Willingness to travel routinely by air and ground and work flexible hours based on operational needs.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds and perform essential warehouse, delivery, and installation activities, with or without reasonable accommodation, using required assistance and handling equipment.

• Construction, remodeling, cabinetry, finish carpentry, or related trade experience.
• Multi-site leadership, medical equipment delivery and installation, or operational improvement experience.
• A related associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
