The Senior Compliance Analyst at One Community Bank plays a pivotal role within our compliance team, focusing on enhancing the bank's adherence to consumer protection laws and internal policies. This dynamic position involves developing and executing second-line compliance testing, assessing business controls, and providing invaluable guidance to various departments. The Analyst will review and approve all bank advertising materials, ensuring compliance across platforms, while also staying ahead of emerging regulations and informing stakeholders about potential risks. Collaborating with the Compliance Officer, this role actively participates in Compliance Committee meetings and contributes to the Compliance Risk Assessment process. The Senior Compliance Analyst will manage regulatory complaints, conduct self-assessments, and recommend process improvements, ensuring timely action on compliance concerns.

With the opportunity to lead projects and foster strong relationships across the organization, this role is essential in promoting a culture of compliance and operational efficiency within the bank.

To excel as a Senior Compliance Analyst at One Community Bank, candidates should possess a solid foundation of regulatory compliance experience, typically ranging from three to five years, along with a strong understanding of compliance laws such as TISA, EFTA, and Fair Lending. High attention to detail and the ability to translate complex regulatory language into clear, non-technical communication are crucial for effectively guiding various departments. Proficiency in data analytics and advanced Microsoft Office skills will enable the Analyst to leverage data for automating compliance testing routines and enhancing operational efficiency. Strong project management capabilities, along with excellent organization and multitasking skills, will empower the Analyst to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Additionally, a high degree of initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently will aid in researching and interpreting compliance regulations while providing timely solutions to challenges within the bank.
