IT SOX Compliance Analyst

IT SOX Compliance Analyst Responsible for examining automated systems and information technology across the organization to assess compliance with policies, regulations, and internal controls related to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Responsibilities Evaluate IT management’s effectiveness in attaining IT control objectives. Identify and maintain controls over information systems relevant to SOX compliance using the SAP GRC-Process Control system. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum of two years of IT auditing or control‑related experience (equivalent experience in information technology or public accounting may be considered). Must be able and willing to work on‑site, in person at the Valero San Antonio location. Preferred: experience with SOX IT controls, COBIT and/or COSO; external IS auditing experience; experience in refining and marketing business; SAP auditing experience.
