Special Inspector

Job Description Management of daily field testing/inspection activities performed by technicians and/or inspector assigned to your project. Scheduling/assigning field staff to various projects based on the project’s needs and the field staff capabilities. Review of daily field reports and test data for accuracy, as well as preparation of monthly summary reports Management of project budgets. Communication with contractors and owners concerning our testing & inspection services, including distribution of reports and test data are distributed to the project teams in a timely manner. You will have the opportunity to attend monthly and preconstruction meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors. Do you enjoy spending time outside and being hands on? You will be needed to perform inspections and testing at project sites as necessary/qualified. Get social. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining contact with our great clients and networking to develop new ones. Qualifications Five years or greater of progressive engineering and/or testing/inspection experience required for those holding a Bachelor degree in engineering or related field of study.(strongly preferred); or Seven years or greater of progressive engineering and/or testing/inspection experience required for those holding an Associate degree in engineering or related field of study; or Twelve years or greater of progressive engineering and/or testing/inspection experience (no degree); or NCDOT and American Concrete Institute (ACI) Field Technician Level I certification required.
