Start your career journey with us at Carillon Miami!/ppUnder the direction of the Director of Engineering, the Maintenance Tech worker engages in the work and activities that repair and maintain all of Carillon Miami Wellness Resort facilities. Also performs preventive maintenance work that could involve the use and operation of technical equipment and techniques. Exhibits sound decision-making skills, productivity, and professionalism./ppAdheres to Carillon Miami Wellness Resort Service Standard when assisting guests, patrons, and owners./ppComply with all Departmental rules, regulations, standards, dress code and appearance./ppBehave in a professional manner and demonstrate a friendly and caring attitude toward co-workers./ppShow prompt responsiveness when asked to do any task consistent with Carillon standards./ppRequired to always wear personal protection equipment./ppPersonally, learn and comply with the Federal, State, Local, Hotel and Departmental Safety Regulations and Procedures./ppAdhere to Carillon Miami Wellness Resort Lock out Tag Out policies and procedures./ppPromote guest, patron, owner and employee safety and security through strict adherence to Facility Security and Safety policies and procedures./ppDoes not engage in, nor allow others on the staff to work in a hazardous manner or under hazardous conditions./ppWorks to eliminate hazards and or safety violations./ppKnow and be able to execute the proper shut-down and start-up procedures for all utilities./ppResponds efficiently to emails, Hotsos orders and Radio calls while adhering to Carillon Miami Wellness Resort Service Standards while assisting guests, residents and TCM members./ppMaintain knowledge of major and emergency equipment locations such as fire detection, fire suppression, emergency generator, departmental fire drill/response pro-cedures, emergency HVAC operation, gas and water shut off valves, main electrical disconnects etc./ppComplete Preventive Maintenance work, including the monitoring, control, and performance of scheduled Preventive Maintenance on all systems./ppRecords and preforms daily readings of machines at Central tower, North Tower and South./ppPerform Daily productivity report for property record./ppAssures the maintenance of parts and inventory of parts needed for the department./ppMaintain and control the tool Inventory to include proper securing, storage, use and function./ppEngineer workers are actively involved in the repairs and maintenance of the Facility and the conditions, equipment and devises therein./ppMaintenance engineers set an example in productivity and professionalism consistent with their education, experience, skills, and abilities./ppLog into Hotsos system daily and complete pending orders, with prioritization of assigned work./ppOriginate work order to remedy problems and or faulty conditions and ensure the quality and timeliness of the remedial work./ppMaintains open and professional communication between management and staff./ppRead, write and communicate instructional and other technical terms that are consistent with the job requirements of a Maintenance engineer./ppSupport the facilitys Hazard Communication Program. This includes a thorough knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheet, product labeling, storing, and handling of materials etc./ppAssists in execution and quality of the work assigned to the facilities maintenance team./ppInspect All common areas in all the towers on daily basis for proper operation and condition./ppPerform Power wash weekly in all common areas./ppAssists in the motivation of employees toward the attainment of reasonable work goals./ppProvides feedback regarding quality and work conditions not meeting Carillon standards./ppPerforms other job-related duties as directed./ppMinimum of 1 year experience in a hotel/resort or directly related industrial or facility maintenance./ppProven leadership skills./ppMust possess good communication and organizational skills with the ability to work with a variety of people./ppThe ability and experience to safely use power equipment and hand tools necessary to accomplish repairs and maintenance work./ppMust possess sufficient stamina to work under all types of weather conditions and to lift, carry, push, and/or pull a variety of tools, equipment, and materials./ppPhysically capable of performing rigorous tasks including working from ladders, working beneath equipment, and in various conditions and settings are required for the normal performance of assigned tasks./ppMust be able to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends./ppPossession of a valid Florida driver license./ppCarillon Miami Wellness Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer/p/div
