The Credit & Collections Clerk - National Sales plays a critical role in supporting our National Sales team by managing Accounts Receivable functions and ensuring accurate, timely billing and collections. This position works closely with Credit, Sales, and Customer Service teams and is cross-trained to support broader National Sales Customer Service operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and collaborating across departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all Accounts Receivable (A/R) activities for National Sales accounts, including statement balances, collections, and reconciliations
• Coordinate daily with the Credit & Collections team to manage critical collection activities
• Prepare, verify, and submit customer invoices via USPS mail, fax, email, and EDI
• Process and reconcile payments, deductions, credits, rebates, broker commissions, and freight claims
• Investigate, document, validate, and resolve payment discrepancies; generate Debit and Credit Memos as needed
• Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and item data within Microsoft Great Plains
• Access and manage customer-specific web portals to retrieve documentation and resolve pricing or payment issues
• Provide ACH payment information to the Credit Department
• Cross-train on National Sales Customer Service responsibilities, including purchase order entry and order confirmations
• Generate sales and inventory reports for Sales Management upon request

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience/training
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• General typing and data-entry skills
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and Accounts Receivable collections preferred
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Great Plains preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Details

• Job: Full-Time
• Work Location: In-Person
• Pay: Starting from $20/hour with ability to advance quickly based on proven skill level/hour.
