Job OpportunityPosition: Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) - Correctional FacilityLocation: Stockton, CASchedule: Full-Time/5 days a week 8 hour shiftsPay Rate: $52 per hour (5% increase after 6 months)Benefits: Weekly pay Housing stipend available Overtime opportunities 100% paid health benefits for employeesRequirements:Current and active Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart AssociationMinimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) preferredResponsibilities:Provide a basic level of general behavioral and psychiatric nursing care to mentally or developmentally disabled patients in a correctional settingConduct daily clinical rounds and monitor patients with signs and symptoms of mental illnessPerform psychiatric nursing procedures under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (MD), including:Administering medications and treatments, including hypodermic injectionsTaking and charting vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respirationPerforming all other basic general nursing procedures within the scope of licensureHow to Apply: Apply where you see this post or call/text us directly at View phone number on click.appcast.io
