Description
Provides on-site supervision at the New Brighton Community Center specifically including the Eagles Nest Playground Gymnasium and Fitness Center. Performs various preventive maintenance and daily cleaning as scheduled required or apparent. Duties performed in a manner that ensures a safe clean and fun environment for children and adults.

Essential Functions

• Provides on-site supervision of the Eagles Nest Indoor Playground; communicating and enforcing established policies and rules for use of the Eagles Nest and New Brighton Community Center in general.
• Performs various preventive maintenance and daily cleaning as scheduled; required or apparent; to help ensure safety of all facility equipment and the play area.
• Building rounds are made at the beginning and end of each shift. Supplies are restocked as needed and areas; including but not limited to; restrooms and locker rooms are picked-up resulting in a clean and neat facility.
• Assists Manager on Duty in overseeing scheduled and non-scheduled activities including; but not limited to; Gymnasium; Fitness Center and Locker Rooms.
• Meets with customers regarding their comments; questions and concerns.
• Responds to accidents and/or emergencies in a calm and controlled manner.
• Performs other job-related responsibilities as apparent or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• First Aid/CPR certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Experience working with children.
• Customer service experience.

Desired Qualifications

• Light cleaning and general custodial experience.
• The ability to lift, push, or pull equipment or materials up to 45lbs.
• Sit, stand, walk, balance, climb, use of feet, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, crawl, and reach above shoulders.
