Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time assignment with variable call requirements. Typically includes one weekday call per week and one weekend rotation every 3-4 weeks. Flexibility required for holiday coverage based on assignment period.

• Comprehensive cardiovascular surgical experience including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, thoracic procedures, and vascular surgery
• Epic charting system utilized for all patient documentation
• Competitive patient ratio of 1:1 ensuring focused, quality patient care
• Opportunity to work with advanced cardiac procedures including LVAD/RVAD, IABP, and MAZE procedures
• Supportive interdisciplinary team including respiratory services and interpretation services
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 2 years of CVOR experience

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of application
• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular operating room experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with cardiac surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafts, valve replacements, and thoracic surgeries
• Scrub experience in cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgery preferred
• Trauma Level I or Level II experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Ability to float within facility scope of practice as needed
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
