About the Position

Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Weekend coverage required (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday rotation). Call typically one weekday per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks. This is a travel assignment with holiday coverage expectations.

Highlights:

• Comprehensive cardiovascular surgical experience including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, IABP, VAD placement, and thoracic procedures
• Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
• Trauma-level experience preferred with exposure to complex cardiac and vascular cases
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed, including Main OR support
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services and interpretation services available

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Active Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of application
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with cardiovascular surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafts, valve replacements, aortic repairs, and thoracic surgeries
• Community hospital and trauma center experience preferred
• Must be available for holiday coverage as outlined in assignment period
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
