Role Description This full-time (or part-time), on-site Registered Nurse role is based in both Denver, Colorado and Northern Colorado (multiple roles open) and focuses on delivering high-quality, compassionate care to older adults in home and community settings. The Registered Nurse will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and update individualized care plans, and monitor client health status, including vital signs, medication regimens, and changes in condition. Responsibilities include coordinating care with physicians, CAREGivers, and family members, providing clinical guidance and education to the care team, and documenting all care in accordance with regulatory and company standards. The role also involves supervising and mentoring CAREGivers, ensuring adherence to care protocols, promoting safety and risk reduction, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. The nurse will maintain clear, respectful communication with clients, families, and colleagues, supporting a collaborative and supportive care environment. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado in good standing; current BLS/CPR certification. Clinical skills in assessment, care planning, medication management, and monitoring of chronic and acute conditions in older adults. Experience in home care, geriatric care, long-term care, or related healthcare settings is strongly preferred. Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams. Ability to provide leadership, training, and oversight to CAREGivers while promoting best practices and safety standards. Proficiency with electronic health records or clinical documentation systems and basic computer skills. Demonstrated empathy, patience, and professionalism when working with diverse populations and individuals with varying levels of independence. Reliable transportation for on-site and in-home visits in the Denver area and flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr Home Instead Denver
