About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Planning & Delivery Practices to play a pivotal role in the Transformation & Delivery Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for instilling and driving disciplined planning and delivery practices across the strategic portfolio. This includes leading the development and maintenance of mechanisms, standards, tools, and operating rhythms that ensure effective program planning, dependency management, and consistent, predictable delivery. The VP will be accountable for portfolio planning processes, integrated roadmap management, and the adoption of common tools and ways of working. A key aspect of the role is to partner with various stakeholders to enhance execution quality and establish a scalable planning and delivery model. Key responsibilities for the VP, Planning & Delivery Practices at the company include leading portfolio planning, establishing planning standards, and coordinating across strategic initiatives. The role also involves designing and running portfolio planning events, maintaining a clear planning and delivery calendar, and creating repeatable planning routines. The VP will define and implement delivery practices, support various project management approaches, and lead the adoption of planning and delivery tools. Continuous improvement and enablement are essential, as is stakeholder engagement to align planning approaches and improve execution outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of delivery practices, and the ability to coach teams on planning standards and effective tool usage.
