Onsite Staffing Supervisor – 2nd Shift

Job Summary

Precise Personnel is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and dependable Onsite Staffing Supervisor to oversee daily workforce operations at one of our fast-paced manufacturing and packaging client facilities.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can work independently, effectively manage temporary employees, maintain strong client relationships, and respond quickly to staffing challenges.

This position serves as the primary point of contact between Precise Personnel, our temporary workforce, and client management. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a high-volume staffing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Supervision & Workforce Management

• Oversee temporary associates during assigned shifts, ensuring attendance, punctuality, professionalism, and compliance with workplace policies.
• Conduct employee check-ins, assist with new-hire onboarding, and ensure employees report to their assigned departments.
• Address employee concerns, performance issues, workplace conflicts, and disciplinary matters professionally.
• Maintain a visible onsite presence and build positive working relationships with employees and client supervisors.

Attendance & Staffing Coordination

• Monitor daily attendance, tardiness, call-offs, early departures, and no-call/no-shows.
• Maintain accurate daily headcount and attendance records.
• Immediately communicate staffing shortages and replacement requests to the recruiting team and branch management.
• Coordinate with internal staff to ensure client staffing requirements are met.
• Provide timely updates regarding employee arrivals, cancellations, and assignment changes.

Client Relations & Communication

• Serve as a direct liaison between Precise Personnel and client management.
• Maintain consistent, professional communication regarding staffing levels, employee performance, and operational concerns.
• Respond promptly to client requests and assist in resolving workforce-related issues.
• Escalate urgent matters to branch management when necessary.
• Represent Precise Personnel professionally while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Timekeeping & Administrative Responsibilities

• Monitor employee clock-ins and clock-outs and assist with timekeeping discrepancies.
• Support accurate payroll reporting by maintaining organized attendance and timekeeping records.
• Prepare daily shift reports, incident documentation, and employee performance updates.
• Maintain confidential employee records and communicate important information to the appropriate departments.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce client dress code, safety procedures, and workplace expectations.
• Assist with reporting workplace injuries, safety concerns, and incidents.
• Ensure employees understand facility rules and assignment requirements.
• Follow company procedures when documenting incidents and escalating employee-related concerns.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory, staffing, recruiting, or workforce coordination experience preferred.
• Experience working in manufacturing, warehouse, production, or staffing agency environments strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Comfortable working independently and making sound operational decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, email, and basic computer applications.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidential information and handle sensitive employee matters.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned schedule consistently.
