Description:
Follows safe practices at all times
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
Operation of forklift, walk behind or ride on floor scrubber, and other heavy machinery as needed
Keeping the plant’s garbage and recycling emptied in a timely manner
Customer-oriented and friendly
Prioritization and time management skills.
Perform general sweeping, scrubbing and mopping of all types of surfaces as needed
Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed
In charge of vacuuming equipment: vacuum and clean carpets and perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed
Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters as needed
Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, countertops and sinks
Maintaining a clean and sanitary breakroom
Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean toiletries and other supplies
Monitoring cleaning supplies and putting in orders as needed
Keep the outside dumpster areas clean and orderly at all time
Break down and removal of plant wood pallets
Maintaining a clean ground area around the plant
Report repairs and replacements needed with encountered
Requirements:Ability to operate forklift and other heavy equipment.
Work with little supervision
Integrity and ability to work independently.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Previous janitorial experience a plus. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
