Custodian - 2nd Shift (Full-time w/benefits)

Position Title: Custodian - 2nd Shift (Full-time/Benefits) Location: Kutz Elementary School Availability: 2025-2026 School Year Compensation: $20.05 per hour Hours: 3:30pm-12:00am Responsibilities This job involves a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic and safe environment. Key responsibilities include collecting and discarding trash, maintaining floors through sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and spot cleaning, and thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting lavatory areas. You will be tasked with cleaning glass surfaces and mirrors, participating in group cleaning projects, and maintaining furniture and fixtures. Additionally, the job includes assisting with furniture arrangement, responding to inclement weather conditions by removing snow and salting, performing security checks, and offering assistance for our outdoor sporting events as needed. Other duties may be assigned as needed by supervisors or managers. Requirements Ability to properly use all types of commercial vacuum cleaners, stripping machines, floor scrubbers, and any special tools or equipment assigned to perform duties. Must be able to follow standard procedures for diluting chemicals, floor finishes and use of cleaning chemicals. All employment is provisional for 90 days as required by ACT 168 of 2014.
