About the Position

Nurses will provide care to adult and geriatric patients. Patient ratios are 1:5-6 for days and weekends, and 1:6 for nights. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend or a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule, in addition to holiday rotation obligations. Candidates must have certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. Floating within the scope to meet facility needs is required. The ability to manage a variety of patients, including those requiring telemetry, is essential. Some specific skills include central line care, feeding tube management, high flow nasal cannula usage, and interpretation of arterial blood gases. Nurses should be familiar with rapid response and code team protocols. Training will be provided for lift devices, ceiling lifts, and bladder scanners. This position may require participation in an interdisciplinary approach with various support teams. Candidates will be expected to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals while providing high-quality patient care.
