Rockwell Springs Trout Club is seeking a Clubhouse Manager to oversee all food and beverage services within the Club, including the daily operation of the Bar, Dining Room, and all banquet services. The Clubhouse Manager reports to the General Manager and has direct reports of: AM Kitchen Supervisor, PM Kitchen Supervisor, service staff, bartenders, and the Lead Housekeeper.

 

Rockwell Springs is a 125-year old member owned private club. We are a small, slower paced operation with peak staff of 38 people, across all departments. The Club is open year-round fluctuating the number of open days depending on the season (5, 6, or 7 days a week). Food and Beverage staff fluctuates from 11 to 20 people seasonally.

 

Responsibilities for the Clubhouse Manager include overall oversight of the Front of the House operation which includes hiring, scheduling, training, employee development, bar operations, and understanding of budgeting. The Clubhouse Manager is an advocate and ambassador of excellent member service. They have a strong, highly respectful, and visible presence within the membership, is an excellent communicator, and possesses a strong work ethic. Candidates must be able to communicate these expectations to their staff in a constructive and positive manner while carrying out high level member services.

 

This position would work nights, weekends, and some holidays(1.5 time). The Club is closed on the following holidays, which are paid; Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.

 

The salary has a starting range of $50,000-65,000 with annual raises and bonuses. We would prefer a degree in hospitality management with 3-5 years of Food and Beverage experience at a club. Other Food and Beverage management experience is welcome. As part of the benefit package the Club offers a 401k program with an up to 3% match, medical insurance (employee responsible for 15% of premium), dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability and paid-time-off.

Our fish hatchery and 125 years of history and tradition make Rockwell Springs Trout Club a premier sporting facility. The membership of Rockwell Springs is wide ranging consisting of over 950 members from 29 states and Washington D.C. Our accommodations include dining, bar, meeting, and 18 overnight rooms.
