Overview A client of Innova Solutions is hiring for a Medical Lab Scientist II on a full-time/contract basis with potential for hire. Location: 929 St. Francis, Wichita, KS 67214. Shift: 1st shift, Mon – Fri, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. Position: Medical Lab Scientist II Duration: 03 months Pay range: Between $38.00/hr and $42.00/hr (range offered based on factors including education, experience, location, duties, certifications, etc.) Contact: Rajesh Chitrada, View email address on click.appcast.io, View phone number on click.appcast.io Responsibilities Read plates of all culture types and work with instruments including bioMérieux Vitek, bioMérieux Maldi-TOF mass spec, bioMérieux Virtuo, bioMérieux Biofire FilmArray, BD Affirm VPIII, Cepheid GeneXpert, Roche Eplex, Roche Liat, and DiaSorin Liaison MDX. Testing production samples. Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria. Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science; or BS in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science with at least 1 year of training or experience in the specialty in which testing will be performed (equivalent to training received in a Medical Technology school). 90 semester hours: 16 Biology, 16 Chemistry (at least 6 hours inorganic), 3 Math; plus completion of an accredited Clinical Laboratory training program or 1 year of documented CLT training/experience in the specialty. Associates Degree in Medical Technology (required).
