This IT Project Manager role leads complex, IT-supported initiatives from initial concept through final closeout. You will manage a portfolio of projects that transform and elevate business performance across multiple functions and regions, working within a matrix-style organization that requires strong coordination skills and the ability to balance competing priorities. Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of IT initiatives aimed at transforming and raising the performance of business lines, functions, and regions.

• Partner with technical and business teams to deliver initiatives that support integrated and intelligent value chain management.

• Organize and guide interdisciplinary teams across business and IT to manage complex business and technical risks.

• Support cross-functional teams of business experts in identifying and resolving complex data and system dependencies.

• Direct all phases of assigned projects from inception through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

• Collaborate closely with project sponsors and cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, required resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines for new initiatives.

• Work with PMO colleagues to implement tools and processes that enable a high-performing, analytically driven IT organization.

• Take responsibility for the cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance of assigned projects.

• Establish project milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, adjusting plans as needed.

• Communicate project expectations, progress, and changes clearly and in a timely manner to team members and stakeholders.

• Lead and drive multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, vendor management, logistics, and services, to ensure successful project execution.

• Provide regular updates to teams, leadership, and the PMO on work performed, plans, budgets, risks, and overall project status.

• Identify project issues and secure effective solutions, including reallocating resources or adjusting contractual specifications when necessary.

• Collaborate with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.

• Analyze and evaluate program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and produce clear program reports for leaders and stakeholders.

• Travel domestically and internationally as needed, up to approximately 20% of the time.

Essential Skills

• Proven project management experience delivering large and complex business-driven IT projects.

• Advanced oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.

• Advanced presentation skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner.

• Proficiency with business tools such as email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to facilitate business process and value stream mapping sessions.

• Ability to facilitate workshops to develop business requirements and solutions.

• Knowledge of IT infrastructure services and architecture.

• Understanding of information security and data privacy requirements as they apply in the healthcare industry or similar environments.

• Experience with IT systems operating in a quality-regulated medical environment or an equivalent regulated industry.

• Knowledge of current IT technologies and standards.

• Experience with ITIL and IT service management (ITSM) processes.

• Working knowledge of Lean, Agile, and/or Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) methodologies.

• Experience working with C-level and senior leadership on strategic initiatives.

• Experience managing vendors and suppliers, including processes related to vendor engagement and oversight.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

• Experience with human capital management systems such as Workday or an equivalent ERP product is desired.

• Familiarity with productivity and collaboration software beyond core Microsoft Office tools.

• Experience working within a matrix-style organization that involves coordinating across multiple business units and functions.

• Background in regulated environments, particularly healthcare or medical device, is highly beneficial.

Work Environment

This role operates in a 100% remote work environment, providing flexibility in location while requiring reliable connectivity and a professional home office setup. You will collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, vendor management, logistics, services, and leadership, using standard business productivity tools such as email, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/HCM systems. Occasional domestic and international travel of up to approximately 20% may be required for key meetings, workshops, or project milestones. This is a Contract position based out of Las Vegas, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62.00 - $68.00/hr.
