Phlebotomist II - 1st Shift

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Somers Point, NJ! This is a 3 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion to FTE) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Phlebotomist II

Location: Somers Point, NJ 08244

Shift Schedule: Monday - Saturday 1st Shift | 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $19-21.75/hour (Based on years of experience & education)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture, capillary collections, and specimen collection procedures following established protocols.
• Collect, prepare, and process blood specimens accurately for laboratory testing.
• Verify patient identification, demographic information, and specimen labeling accuracy after collection.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintain required patient records.
• Provide exceptional customer service while explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional patient service environment.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.
• Perform daily activities accurately and efficiently under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Support patient service center operations and maintain quality and productivity standards.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required .
• Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections required.

Note: Local candidates within 25-30 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
