About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Float Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Inpatient Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of Med Surg experience License: New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Must be willing to float between units - Experience with cardiac drips and stepdown practices - BSN required - EPIC experience required - Must be able to work stepdown unit when needed - Traveler must have their own vehicle Description: Coordinates total nursing care for patients. Participates in patient and family teaching. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel. Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients. Dress code requires professional scrubs without logos. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays as needed. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted upfront. No more than five days of requested time off will be accepted. Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two blocks during peak holiday times. All medical and occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted promptly.
