The Huffines Service Technician The Huffines Service Technician is a subject matter expert and utilizes their experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in the process of inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles. The Huffines Service Technician helps customer satisfaction by providing accurate, consistent, and timely services. They use industry-standard shop equipment and tools to perform repair work and document repair orders and recommendations. Responsibilities Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs Repairs automobiles and light trucks as assigned Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards Ensures the shop runs efficiently by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions as needed Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum two years of dealer-level experience Verifiable technical performance record High school diploma or GED Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be a team player Results-oriented self-starter Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to delivering world-class customer service Demonstrated desire to learn new processes and adapt quickly Some post-secondary automotive training (preferred) Proficiency in computer skills Compensation and Benefits Highly competitive market wages Consistent flag hours Optional benefits include medical, vision, dental, and Health Savings Account (HSA) Flexible schedules (no mandatory overtime) 401(k) with company match Company-paid life insurance Paid time off (PTO accrues from first day) Paid holidays HUFFINES IS A DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE: In addition to background checks, Huffines performs pre-employment and random drug testing #J-18808-Ljbffr Huffines
