Lead Produce Department Clerk

Overview The Produce Department Lead is responsible for assisting and ensuring exceptional operational standards are being adhered to in the Produce Department, Chop Shoppe and/or Juicery areas. They will ensure each area is fully stocked with fresh product and appeals to guests. The Produce Department Lead is responsible for stocking the shelves and building displays, preparing all fresh‑cut fruits, vegetables, and freshly made juices for our guests, and culling (rotating and pulling product of less than high quality) in the produce department. Additionally this position tracks shrink, verifies production logs, scheduling, orders product, and ensures food safety standards are exceeded at all times. The Produce Department Lead is responsible for ensuring continuous delivery of exceptional guest service, ensuring superior quality and freshness of all products, actively engaging guests through freshly prepared product samples and suggestive selling, attracting guests by creating a fun and friendly atmosphere, and understanding all health, safety and sanitation regulations. Responsibilities Ensure exceptional operational standards in the Produce Department, Chop Shoppe, and/or Juicery areas. Stock shelves and build displays. Prepare fresh‑cut fruits, vegetables, and freshly made juices. Cull, rotate, and pull product of less than high quality. Track shrink and verify production logs. Schedule and order product. Exceed food safety and sanitation standards. Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain product quality and freshness. Engage guests through product samples and suggestive selling. Create a fun and friendly atmosphere. Understand health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
